What: Golf Road Warriors is a website devoted to the adventures of four golf writers as they travel to Scottsdale, Arizona for a one-week trip.
I was responsible for taking the previous look and feel of the site and creating a WordPress theme that resembled it as closely as possible.
The site includes a PHP call for posts in a specific date range, something that I hadn’t run across before.
By creating a filter function and setting a date range, I was able to achieve the desired result. I maintained the site from start to finish and was quick to make any changes when a category went unchecked.
Videos were brought in with JWplayer or YouTube embed code.
This was probably one of the largest-scale sites that I’ve produced to date and completion of the project was extremely rewarding.
